Since April 30, 2019 we are proud to be part of the startup program TechBoost of the German Telekom. 💪
The TechBoost program
At CeBIT 2017, Deutsche Telekom announced its startup program TechBoost, which helps German startups from the technology sector to successfully launch their innovative, cloud-based business models. With this startup program, Telekom ranks #1 amongst the most active DAX companies in terms of successful cooperation with startups. The TechBoost program is interesting for startups in many ways and truly acts as a partner:
- TechBoost offers selected startups in the program a sales cooperation with Telekom.
- With regards to PR, events and fairs, TechBoost offers a joint communication with the startup.
- A shared business model can also be developed with the participating startup; joint product development initiatives are also possible.
- TechBoost provides a credit of up to €100,000 for Open Telekom Cloud.
- In addition, there are discounts available for mobile, landline and Internet contracts.
As a result, the TechBoost team introduces participating startups to Telekom’s customers and relieves the cost burden on the technical infrastructure. With Matthias Schievelbusch being responsible for TechBoost, Telekom has chosen a motivated and highly pleasant person who interacts at eye level with startups and founders. Applying for TechBoost is easy and comfortable too – simply fill out the application form; wait, and get ready to boost!
TechBoost Pitch Day
On 27.06.2019, the TechBoost Pitch Day celebrated its premiere in the Design Gallery Bonn. The goal of the TechBoost Pitch Day is to create win-win situations: Pitch Day is a platform where startups meet potential customers in the context of a defined “challenge”. In a vibrant atmosphere, the TechBoost team and the participants met for breakfast snack at 10:00. After a brief welcome, the participating startups were able to present their solution to the respective challenges of the companies in order to “win” a cooperation within the scope of a proof-of-concept.

Goal of the TechBoost Pitch Day is to convince the potential customer of the startup and its idea. We too participated in a challenge.
Challenge #2 – dormakaba
Challenge # 2 was announced by the German headquarters of the Swiss company dormakaba, which offers access and security solutions globally. The challenge is to provide an efficient solution for the collection and handling of transactions made through corporate credit cards and accounts, other than personal costs (such as software licenses, events, restaurant visits, etc.). The user should confirm the transactions with the help of a smart app, attach the original documents as required by Financial Accounting, so that the relevant data can be entered into SAP FI.
The goal of the solution is to enable a single-document-based invoice verification of the individual credit card billing items as well as the obligatory document submission of the credit card holder through a system-simplifying, digital solution.
And the Winner is: Neohelden
Maik Hummel, CTO of Neohelden, pitched at the TechBoost Pitch Day how we would solve dormakaba’s challenge: With our AI-Assistant Neo and Neo Enterprise Assistant Platform.

Powered by Neo Enterprise Assistant Platform and our digital assistant Neo, the document entry and booking can be implemented as simply and efficiently as possible. At the end of the day, it does not matter to the user which system or systems in the background receive and register the invoices and transactions – the user interacts exclusively with Neo via text and/or voice.

Maik explained our solution very well, structured and clear, and convinced dormakaba with our digital assistant Neo. We are pleased to be able to implement a project with dormakaba and Telekom and to proof the benefits and added value of Neo and our Enterprise Assistant Platform.

Again, we would like to thank the entire TechBoost team for giving us the opportunity to attend the TechBoost Pitch Day 27.06.2019. 🙏 Keep on Boosting! 🚀
